Not ready for a fluid workflow
Tooks like XCode should be fast and reliable. XCode is neither. Live issue updates, syntax highlighting and pretty much everything else is very slow. Even things that should not be slow are slow. For example why do various panes in XCode animate? There is absolutely no need for this. If you are developing all day watching these panes animate in and out is a complete waste of time.
On the reliability front, XCode crashes at least once or twice every hour when using Swift. Sometimes it crashes right away after reopening. Other times opening the project after crash does not have all the latest edits to the files.
Considering how many people rely on XCode to work I hope it imporoves substantially in both reliability and speed instead of having more unnecessary stuff added to it as features.
