Одни баги, симулятор ios 8.1 нормально не масштабируется четверть экрана черная, если png картинки 16bits на ios 8.х получаем непонятные баги в приложении. Среда переодически зависает и т/д.

A whole set of bugs. Simulator ios 8.1 does not show full screen on scaling and rotation some of it is simple black. If your project has 16bits png and yout try to run it in ios 8.x then the app randomly crashes in diff locations. IDE is not stable and randomly freezes and so on.
