how to upgrade! (what they dont tell you)

i had to follow these steps:

1. delete xcode, ie
rm -rf /Applications/Xcode.app

2. install it via app store - it will ask about command line tools which you will have to install first. xcode install takes a long time (1 hr for me on a wired connection).

3. put it in the right place
mv ~/Xcode.app /Applications

4. sudo xcode-select -s /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer
